Gulf Contracting was proud to provide Passive Fire treatments over nine months at the Big Chill Distribution cold-storage facility at the Ruakura Superhub in Hamilton. Apollo delivered the design and build of the $40 million facility, a 12,000m2, state-of-the-art Greenstar 4 building that showcases, not only sustainability and efficiency, but also innovation. With two 2,500m2 freezers, two 2,500m2 chillers offering a total of 16,760 pallets spaces with versatile storage solutions to cater for both short-term transit and long-term storage needs, the facility is set to be the key storage hub for imported and local frozen and chilled consumer goods throughout the Waikato region.
